In 1.30-2 hours you’ll explore Zealong Tea Estate and wonderful Tea Walk, learn the fascinating story behind Zealong, see how tea is made, experience a traditional Discover tea ceremony and rich history and culture, and relax over a cup of the world’s purest tea, with stunning views over the only tea plantation in New Zealand, then saviour a Zealong Signature High Tea.

Waikato Museum

Waikato Museum’s exhibitions and events tell modern and historic stories from a regional and global perspective, and include visual art, social history, Tangata Whenua culture and science from touring exhibitions and the museum’s own collections. Waikato Museum’s 13 galleries feature more than 25 new exhibitions and 100 public events annually. Through this interactive programme they aim to engage and inspire our local and international visitors. Highlights include the majestic War Waka Te Winika, Exscite and Planet Warriors, the fun hands-on science galleries for children and galleries which exhibit a rich blend of artworks.
