Join us on a fascinating sightseeing tour of our stunning scenic Waikato region visiting the World Award winning Hamilton Gardens and enjoy a refreshing morning tea. We then drive to the World Class Zealong Tea Estate for a fantastic tour including a delicious Tea Tasting experience and tour of the Estate, followed by lunch at Profs located in the historic Woodlands Estate. Then visit the Waikato Museum giving an insight into the Maori and European history of the region, Maori Culture, Modern Art, galleries, crafts and interactive shows. A short walk then to the Arts Post, promoting artists, and to growing a dynamic and supportive environment for the arts in the Waikato. Sightseeing and discovery is an added bonus on this tour.

Hamilton Gardens – visit the World Award winning Hamlton Gardens and be taken on a Private Tour and learn about it’s amazing history and evolution. Visitors are guided on a journey of discovery along paths leading to mysterious surprises: step from a peaceful Sung Dynasty Chinese Scholar’s garden into an Italian Renaissance Garden, before being enthralled by the grandeur of the Indian Char Bagh Garden. Hamilton Gardens has 21 themed garden areas with more being developed. Enjoy a delightful morning tea at the Gardens Café.

Hamilton City and Waikato – be transported around Hamilton’s region to wonderful sights and sounds, including Hamilton Lake where we will feed a variety of birdlife, view Hamilton’s historic buildings, classic car museum. historic homesteads, local farm visit (seasonal) walk and play in lovely parks, and depending on the time of year we can pick fresh strawberries and fruit to enjoy.

Zealong Tea Estate – over 2 hours you’ll explore Zealong Tea Estate and wonderful Tea Walk, learn the fascinating story behind Zealong, see how tea is made, experience a traditional Discover tea ceremony and rich history and culture, and relax over a cup of the world’s purest tea, with stunning views over the only tea plantation in New Zealand, then saviour a Zealong Signature High Tea Lunch.
